1st Day: Flight Alicante-Keflavík. Night at a guesthouse.

2nd Day: Keflavík-Vík. Journey on private bus. Look for puffins in the surroundings of the Dyrhólaey black beaches. Visit Vík. Get equipment ready for starting the route the following day. Night at a hostel.

3rd Day: Vík-Hólaskjól. Start our journey inland on mountain-bike (40 km). Amazing route to Hólaskjól, where we will have a short trek to the beautiful Eldgjá waterfall. Night in a cabin.

4th Day: Hólaskjól-Landmannahellir. 45-kilometre ride on mountain-bike across the lakes and the surroundings of Landmannalaugar. Night in a cabin.

5th Day: Landmannahellir-Áfangagil. 45-kilometre ride on mountain-bike along lunar landscapes of the volcanic deserts surrounding Hekla mountain. Hike to Hekla. Night in a cabin.

6th Day: Áfangagil-Landmannalaugar. 45 kilometres on mountain bike. Arrival at Landmannalaugar, where we will have a trek to Blánukhur (or blue mountain) and enjoy its hot springs. Night in a cabin.

7th Day: Landmannalaugar-Hrafntinnusker. 12-kilometre hike (4 to 6 hours). 470-metre ascent and 50-metre descent. Night in a cabin.

8th Day: Hrafntinnusker-Álftavatn. 10-kilometre trek. 490-metre descent. 4 to 5 hours. Night in a cabin.

9th Day: Álftavatn- Femri_Botnar. 16-kilometre hike. 40-metre descent. 5 to 6 hours. Night in a cabin.

10th Day: Femri_Botnar-Þórsmörk. Sixteen-kilometre hike. 300-metre descent and 100-metre ascent along undulating landscape. 5 to 6 hours. Night in a cabin.

11th Day: Þórsmörk-Fimmvörðuháls. 10-kilometre trek. Pass between Mýrdalsjökull and Eyjafjallajökull glaciers. 5 hours. Night in a cabin.

12th Day: Fimmvörðuháls-Skógar. 14-kilometre hike. 6 hours. Arrival at Skógafoss waterfall. End of the route. Night at a farm.

13th Day: Skógar-Reykjavík. Journey on private bus. Visits to Þingvellir, Gulfoss, and Geysir. Night at a guesthouse.

14th Day: Reykjavík. Free day with a chance to do various activities: visits to “The Volcano Show”, whale sighting, horse riding, etc. Night at a guesthouse.

15th Day: Private bus Reykjavík-Keflavík. Flight Keflavík-Alicante.

Flight ticket, personal insurance, LeVelô guide, bikes and equipment necessary for the route, lodging, meals, and transportation during the route included. Meals in Reykjavík and on flying days, taxes, or activities on free days not included. Departures: June to September. Groups: 8 people, minimum; 10, maximum.
